I first started studying acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine in 1987. Now over 32 years later I run my own acupuncture clinic in Cheltenham, Cotswold capital and I am still as exciting and passionate as I was when I first began studying.

 I studied in a medical university in China for 8 years to accredit with Master Degree and my instruction tutor is Chinese Medicine Grand Master Dr. Xue Wen Zhang who is a national treasure doctor in China.

In 1996 I was fortunate to work in Guang An Meng hospital, the most famous Chinese medicine hospital in China, which is China's only TCM hospital that boasts British BUPA accreditation. I have given thousands of patients acupuncture and herbal medicine treatments in the hospital and have seen acupuncture and herbal medicine help and benefit so many patients' life and health. I can speak very good English then and gave lectures and trainings to hundreds of overseas students from USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, France, UK. At that time I was young and ambitious, I was inspired and encouraged by my foreign students to come to West countries to fulfill my dream to set up my own acupuncture practice.

In 2000 I decided to move to Britain to work in a private clinic. I found the opportunities to offer an alternative solution to people who have experienced the limitation of Western practice.    Then I set up my personal brand acupuncture clinic in Cheltenham and provide acupuncture to Cheltenham, Cirencester, Stroud and Cotswold area. Over 20 years I have helped thousands of patients to get well, some patients said acupuncture and herbal medicine profoundly transformed their life and they experienced an increased feeling of well being.

Twenty years ago acupuncture was often a last resort for patients, now it becomes many patients' first choice. As an expert acupuncturist in Cheltenham, I feel proud acupuncture is becoming a part of mainstream treatment in the UK.

Although I miss the challenges of the busy hospital in China, where I was a consultant, nowadays I much enjoy the success of my own clinic in the UK. I can help so many patients and meantime I can find my new life balance with my family. I dream to develop a high profile personal brand practice and line of natural health products.
