At Cheltenham Acupuncture, we offer personalised Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) consultations and acupuncture treatments, combining 36 years of clinical experience with traditional Chinese diagnostic methods and modern medical knowledge.
Initial Consultation — £105–£190
A comprehensive assessment of your health and underlying concerns.
Your initial consultation includes:
- Traditional Chinese Medicine diagnosis: Detailed tongue examination and pulse assessment, with other established TCM diagnostic methods.
- Medical history review: Discussion of your symptoms, previous diagnoses, medical investigations, medication, lifestyle and relevant health history.
- Integrated clinical assessment: Consideration of traditional Chinese medical principles alongside modern medical diagnoses and clinical information.
- Exploration of underlying factors: Assessment of possible contributing factors and patterns of imbalance.
- Personalised treatment planning: Recommendations based on your individual condition, medical history and treatment needs.
Fee: £105–£190, depending on the length and complexity of the consultation.

Follow-up Consultation
No additional consultation fee for ongoing patients within three years of their initial consultation.
Routine reviews and reassessments are incorporated into your ongoing treatment appointments, where appropriate.
A new consultation may be recommended if your health circumstances change significantly or a comprehensive reassessment is required.
Acupuncture Treatment — £95–£125 per session
Expert acupuncture care, individually tailored to your needs.
Acupuncture treatment is provided by a highly experienced practitioner with:
- 36 years of clinical experience.
- Systematic professional training in Traditional Chinese Medicine in China and the UK.
- Clinical experience in hospital and private practice settings.
- Extensive experience applying traditional Chinese diagnostic principles to individual treatment planning.
Each treatment is tailored to your condition, response to overall health.
Fee: £95–£125 per session.
Chinese Herbal Medicine — From £84 per week
Individualised Chinese herbal prescriptions are formulated according to your TCM assessment and clinical needs.
We use tailor-made concentrated herbal granules, with prescriptions reviewed and adjusted as appropriate.
Fee: From £84 per week, depending on the individual prescription.

Out-of-Hours Fee
An additional £10–£15 applies to appointments outside regular clinic hours
